The Bloedel Conservatory is a floral conservatory and aviary at the peak of Queen Elizabeth Park in Vancouver, BC.
Dancing Fountains
The conservatory, built to celebrate Canada’s centennial and completed in 1969, is a triodetic dome system invented by Canadian inventor & architect F. Fentiman & Sons. The plaza is made up of wood decks & shading pavilions surrounding a beautiful water fountain & perennial gardens.
"Knife Edge, Two Piece"
The bronze sculpture is by Henry Moore and was installed in the plaza fountain for the opening of the conservatory in 1969.
