Mauerpark

I always thought the Mauerpark was kinda gross, but I've slowly come around to it. If you don't mind clumpy grass mixed with a healthy dose of cigarette smoke and graffiti, I feel confident you will see the charm of the Mauerpark in time.

January Frost

Today I went into work, but they were having meetings all day so I got a day off instead. This worked out kinda nice because it is the first sunny day in a long time, and Jed is going to start working back at Nieto Sobejano next Monday. It's our last free time together during the week. So we decided to go for a walk to Viktoria Park.

Park am Gleisdreieck

For 40 years the former train yard and paths in Berlin next to Möckernstraße were let to grow fallow and it is on this landscape that Park am Gleisdreieck is now situated. Atelier LOIDL of Berlin won the competition for the urban park design and the eastern part was opened in September, 2011.
