Here is some excellent news: bossman told me that they are very happy with my work and want to renew my contract... indefinitely! As in no end date! As in... job security and a raise! He also said they would do whatever possible to help extend my visa. Who's feeling good today? Me. That's who.

alles gut zum geburtstag (i turned 27)

In spite of the fact that I was working like crazy, my time management skills came in quite handy. I stayed a bit later on Tues/Wed so that I could take Thursday and Friday evening off. The weekend was filled with such delights as cake from Koriat, pistacio filled mini-magnums, tickets to see Laura Marling (which was awesome), and a sunny brunch at Restaurantschiffe Van Loon. I still managed to finish the perspectives with time to spare, which obviously just meant that people could nitpick about stupid things like what color the benches in the far off distance are.

January Frost

Today I went into work, but they were having meetings all day so I got a day off instead. This worked out kinda nice because it is the first sunny day in a long time, and Jed is going to start working back at Nieto Sobejano next Monday. It's our last free time together during the week. So we decided to go for a walk to Viktoria Park.
